October 13th – 16th Faringdon Art Society Annual Exhibition
Corn Exchange, Faringdon, Oxfordshire.  This was a real success, the best year ever with a record number of artists putting their work in, and a record number of sales.  This is my first year as Treasurer so keeping a grip on the numbers was a bit nervewracking!  Ed Vaizey, Minister of Culture and our MP came to open it and choose the prizes, and  I must admit to being agreeably surprised at his choices – he didn’t go for safe options but chose really good work.

September 2011 Exhibition in Portwell Angel, Faringdon, Oxon. 

Local Faringdon Wine Bar which runs a rotating monthly exhibition organised by the Faringdon Art Society.  Makes a really nice exhibition space, reaching a very different viewing public.
